Christmas Mini Album

The Design Team over at Cricut Mini Albums was challenged to create a Christmas Mini Album and I knew exactly what I wanted to do. This Echo Park "Everybody Loves Christmas" paper and matching sticker set from MemoryWorks is just so adorable so I knew that I wanted to use it. I picked out some matching Core'dinations cardstock and got busy with a chipboard album I had in my stash. Here is the result:

The blue scallop is cut from the Storybook Cartridge

The snowflakes and present were cut from the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge and the two green mats were cut from the Storybook cartridge.

The only Cricut here is the blue snowflake cut from the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge.
The "Let it Snow" frame was cut from Stretch Your Imagination as is the snowflake.

Another snowflake from Stretch Your Imagination.

The swirly frame is a card frame from Stretch Your Imagination and the snowflake and present are from that cartridge too.
I loved making this little mini! The paper from Echo Park is so festive and fun! If you would like to order your own set of Echo Park "Everybody Loves Christmas" paper and embellishments (Only $11.50 for the entire set plus with my 10% off special for the month of December it is only $10.35!) just send me an email. I hope you enjoyed looking through my album. Be sure to visit Cricut Mini Albums to see the rest of the amazing albums created by the other Design Team members.

I also want to throw a quick plug in for Card Cupids. We have 3 new children that we are accepting cards for : Jessica, Jillianne and Wyatt. These three kids could really use some happy mail so I hope that you will consider making each of them a card. Card Cupids is also hosting another challenge with a great prize! You can read all about the challenge HERE. Be sure to visit Card Cupids and see all of the exciting things we have going on!

I can't remember where that saying came from but it makes me giggle when I hear it! Anyway, I promised a winner and that's just what I have! The winner of the 3 Bugs in a Rug paper and embellishments is:

It's a "Use Your Stash" challenge which means you can make any card you like but you must use supplies you already have and cannot purchase anything special for the card. That's it! The winner will be chosen at random and will receive 3 digital stamps of their choice from Heather Ellis Co. Be sure to check out the challenge by clicking HERE

And while you are at Card Cupids be sure to read about our newest nominees, Jessica, Jillianne and Wyatt.

Christmas Cards

I have been making Christmas cards like a mad woman! Seriously, I think I made 50 + in less than 24 hours! I made a bunch to send to Card Cupids and then some for our personal list. I thought I'd just take a minute to show them to you.

These are all personal Christmas cards

These are for Card Cupids
The 4 cards at the top were all created with Stampin' Up card stock in Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler. The stamp is also from Stampin' Up. The scallop cuts are both from the Cricut cartridge Storybook and cut at 2 1/2" and 2" and the center oval is cut from Storybook at 2". The Gingerbread Man cards are made with white cardstock from Walmart, the green and red papers (including the gingerbread man's accents) are Stampin' Up cardstock in Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler. The gingerbread men were cut at 3" using the Cricut cartridge Stretch Your Imagination. Thanks for looking! Don't forget to leave a comment on my Blog Candy thread HERE and you might win a prize!

OMG It's Snowing!

So, I look outside just a few minutes ago and it's SNOWING! I know this probably isn't a big deal to those of you that live further north than me but here in East Tennessee we do not normally see snow this early in the season. It's kind of a big deal. We live at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains and at the first sign of snow people RUN (not calmly either I might add) to the grocery store for milk and bread. Apparently all you need to survive in an Apocalypse around here is a gallon of milk and a few loaves of bread so I am sure that our grocery stores are now bare. Anyway, it put me in a total Christmas state of mind - first day of December and snow? What more could a girl ask for? So I want to celebrate! I have something I want to give away - I've been holding on to it for a while now just waiting for the right moment. Want to know what it is? Well, here it is:

It's the Three Bugs "Snow Much Fun" set from MemoryWorks! The winner will receive the complete Theme Set (six 12x12 sheets of double-sided patterned cardstock), Cardstock stickers (one 6x12 sheet of die-cut cardstock stickers) and Die-Cut Tags (one 12x12 sheet of die-cut cardstock tags). So, would you like to make this yours? I thought so, those penguins are so darn cute how could you resist? Here is what you need to do:

1). Become a Follower (if you aren't already)
2). Leave a comment

That's it! I was planning to give this away when I hit 50 followers but I seem to be holding steady at 45. If you send a friend over and they become a follower (have them leave a comment and let me know that you referred them) I'll give you an extra entry into the giveaway. I'd love to hit 50 so if I do I'll try to find a little something extra to give to the winner. I will pick a winner next Wednesday (December 8th) so you have until midnight on Tuesday (December 7th) to enter.

As an added bonus, if you place an order with me anytime during the month of December for anything from MemoryWorks I will give you 10% off your total order (including Clearance and Sale items)! All orders can be payed for through PayPal so don't delay, send me your order today! Good Luck everyone!
