Lookee what came in the mail on Saturday:
After more than a year (yes, you read that right) I finally placed my first Papertrey Ink order and it came yesterday! I have been sleeping by the mail box waiting for this to arrive! I cannot tell you how I agonized over what to order - I seriously want one of everything they sell - some things I want two of! I very lovingly prepped my stamps yesterday and put them in their cases. Today . . . I PLAYED!
It started when I realized that not only was today the 5th (the day the monthly Papertrey Ink release countdown begins) but also the 5th Anniversary for Papertrey Ink. I've been following along with them for a long time and many times they will do challenges but the requirement is that your project includes at least 1 PTI product. Finally! I can play along. The challenge was to select a card from one of the Design Team and create your own project inspired by their design. I chose this beautiful card from Lisa Johnson.
Here is my take on the card using my new PTI goodies!
RECIPE:
PTI Kraft Cardstock
PTI Aqua Mist Cardstock
PTI Spring Moss Cardstock
PTI Spring Moss Ink
PTI True Black Ink
PTI Aqua Mist Saddle Stitch Ribbon
PTI Holiday Mix Vintage Buttons
PTI Mega Mixed Messages
PTI Guide Lines Stamp Set
PTI Mat Stack 4 Stamp Set
PTI Mat Stack 4 Die
PTI Tag-It's #1 Mini Stamp Set
Aqua Twine
I think I used some of everything I ordered on this card! I wanted to play with as much as possible and I think the only things I ordered and didn't use at least part of were the Fly Away Mini Stamp Set and matching die, Signature Series Butterfly Die, Vintage Cream Ink Pad and Spring Moss Saddle Stitch Ribbon LOL! Anyway, I thought it came together really well and I'm sure I'll have lots more to share with you from this order!
Great card! I have never ordered from them but always love their stuff. Maybe someday!
ReplyDeleteI sense the excitement! Looks like you got some great stuff! Their dies and stamps are awesome. Love their buttons and ribbons too, ok, I love it all! Haven't tried the new ink. Looking forward to seeing more of your creations!
