Keeping It Together!

I'm trying to stay on top of things around here! Why does it seem that housework and errands NEVER EVER END?? Ugh, I feel like I clean and then when I turn around I need to start all over again. Do you ever feel that way? Please tell me I'm not the only one!

You know my cure for feeling better about the state of my mess? An episode of Hoarders or Hoarding (I like them both) and some scrap time. It's therapeutic for me. Here is a card I made recently, probably while watching Hoarders.

I made the card using the Simple Stories Fab{u}lous kit and if you would like instructions on how to recreate this little card, you can visit the MemoryWorks Website and find instructions in the Inspiration Section.

So after seeing all of these Fab{u}lous projects I know you are ready to play with your own kit! I am so in love with this kit, I think everyone needs one! So for all of my lovely blog friends out there, I am offering the Simple Stories Fab{u}lous kit at 10% off the regular price ($20.99)! You can get your own kit for $18.89 (+ tax & s/h)! If you would like to order please just email me.

Appologies

I'm so sorry I didn't get my other projects posted last week. My Mother-in-Law, who lives with us, ended up in the hospital all week last week. She is home now and doing better but it made for a super crazy week. We are trying to get back to normal around here (though, let's be honest, abnormal is the only normal around here lol).

Today I have another project to share but first I want to tell you about an awesome giveaway opportunity.

Have you heard about My Memories Digital Scrapbooking Software? It seems like I see it popping up all over the place these days.Well, Card Cupids is giving away a free copy of the My Memories Digital Scrapbooking Software! Visit THIS POST to find out how you can win!

And this is the project I wanted to share with you,

This is another project from the Simple Stories Fab{u}lous Kit. I needed a little mini calendar to keep at my scrap desk (I'm forever needing to know dates and I hate getting up to look) so I made this little cutie. It was so fun to make and really not that difficult. If you want step by step instructions on how to make your own Mini Calendar, visit the MemoryWorks Website and check out the Inspiration section..

More Fab{u}lous Projects

This week I want to share some projects I created using the new Simple Stories Fab{u}lous line. Having a little girl and being just a little bit girlie myself, I have so loved this collection! The colors are so pretty and the images are so fun! I always get a ton of mileage out of my Simple Stories kits but this one is going to be every where! I have so many pictures and projects I want to use this for.

Today I am sharing this 12x12 layout. This picture is of my daughter and her cousin at the zoo last year. It is so precious when they hold hands and I was lucky to be able to pull the camera out and snap this picture before they took off running. I always want to remember how much they love each other. Everything on this layout is from the Fab{u}lous kit except the rhinestones on the butterflies. If you would like to re-create this layout, the instructions are posted on the MemoryWorks website under Inspiration. Tomorrow I will be sharing more so please come back. Thanks for visiting today!

Some Fun New Products

Sorry it's been such a quiet week around here. We are battling some illness and it's not been fun.

Today I am posting over at the MemoryWorks blog sharing some of my favorite MemoryWorks products. I am sharing projects I made using the new Simple Stories Fab{u}lous line and the new 3 Bugs in a Rug "One Fine Day" collection.

Here are my two projects:

So head over to the MemoryWorks blog to learn more about these two lines!

Projects for MemoryWorks

Today I am posting over on the MemoryWorks Blog so be sure to check it out!

Here are the projects I am sharing and be sure to read to the end for some Etsy news!

First up, is this 12x12 page I created for my daughter's baby album. I think I finally have everything ready to actually create the album! Yes, I know she's 3 but better late than never, right? I made this page using the Simple Stories Baby Steps Collection Kit.

Next I want to share a card I made. This card was also created using the Simple Stories Baby Steps Collection Kit.

What I love the most about this card is the inside. It's a pop up card so once you open it you get a whole other surprise!

Isn't that fun? I just love pop up cards - they don't have to be anything elaborate to pack a punch!

This 12x12 layout is going in my "Birthdays" Album. I decided I have so many birthdays to catch up on that I'm just going to put all of the birthday layouts into one album! This layout was made with the Simple Stories Happy Days Collection Kit (yes, I have a thing for Simple Stories).

And finally, I'm really excited to share this mini shadow box with you. I created this box with elements from the Simple Stories Destinations Collection Kit. I wanted a fun and unique way to remember my honeymoon and this was just perfect.

Here's the really exciting part about this project - I created extra kits so you can make your own shadow box! I just listed 3 of these shadow box kits in my Etsy Shop! You will receive paper, stickers and the shadow box to create your own travel memories shadow box! Be sure to check out my Etsy Shop for all of the details - remember, there are only 3 available so act quickly if you want one!

New Challenge at Card Cupids

It's a new month (how did March get here so fast?) and that means a new challenge over at Card Cupids! This month's challenge is to create a card for boys! I think most card makers find this a challenge because so many cards we make seem to fit the girl category. This month's challenge is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps. Here is a card I created for this challenge.

I've used this cowboy before and I just adore him! I colored him with Copics and cut him out with scissors. I cut the mats for the image with Spellbinders dies and mounted it all on some scrap paper I had. The sentiment and ink is from Papertrey Ink.

Be sure to check out the challenge at Card Cupids for your chance to win some adorable images from the Bugaboo Stamps store.
